Professional background
A foundation in people, psychology, leadership and meaningful change.
My coaching draws on academic study, years of working closely with people, continued learning and my own long-term experience with coaching and therapy.
01 · Education
Social sciences & sociology
I studied social sciences in the Netherlands from 2006 to 2011 and hold a Master of Science in Sociology. This gave me a strong foundation in how people, relationships, environments and social patterns influence the way we think, feel and behave.
02 · Teaching
University teaching and tutoring
Between 2010 and 2013, I worked at university as a teacher and tutor. I supported students in their learning, reflection and personal development, and learned how to create structure, confidence and psychological safety.
03 · Leadership
Mentoring and people leadership
During my career in consulting and banking from 2014 to 2026, I worked as a mentor, team lead and line manager. I supported individuals and teams through development, uncertainty, change and difficult conversations.
04 · Coaching
Coaching individuals and teams
I have coached individuals and teams throughout my career, helping people reflect, build confidence, communicate more clearly and identify practical ways forward.
05 · Continued learning
Psychology, coaching and well-being
Over the past ten years, I have completed a range of trainings and courses in authentic leadership, coaching, psychology, therapy and mental well-being. I continue to deepen my knowledge and practical approach.
06 · Facilitation
Workshops on well-being and growth
I have facilitated workshops throughout my professional career in consulting and banking. Today, I also facilitate workshops with older adults on well-being, mental health, resilience, connection and lifelong learning.
I have always been especially interested in psychology and the power of the mind—how thoughts, feelings and deeply held beliefs can shape the way we experience life.
